BBC/"Kill Hill" Loops
How many loops can you complete in 59:59 or faster?
Will YOU be the rotten egg?!? Even if you finish the loop under the time limit, if you're the last one in, you're eliminated from the race, along with everyone else who may have missed the lap cutoff!
A new lap will begin each hour, on the hour:
Odd Laps will be run COUNTER-CLOCKWISE
Even Laps will be run CLOCKWISE
Lap 1 - 8:00 am
Lap 2 - 9:00 am
Lap 3 - 10:00 am...
Lap 9 - 4:00 pm
Lap 10 - 5:00 pm (the last lap will be raced for time, to determine 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.).
Each lap is approximately 3.5 miles, with roughly 700 ft of vert.
Runners will certainly earn many guilt-free leftover Thanksgiving dinners after this effort!

Course Description
Description Coming Soon
From the Start/Finish (4,600'), you will head east, up Bates Canyon Rd; at mile 0.6, you will veer southeast, continuing along a dirt road where, at mile 1 (4,950'), you'll be treated to a steep, sandy 160' climb over one tenth of a mile up "Kill Hill"; after topping out, you''ll head south along the shoreline road for roughly 0.1 miles; at the opening in the fence, make a hairpin turn to the northeast (mile 1.2; 5,175'); after heading north along the double-track for roughly 0.6 miles, you will meet up with Bates Canyon Rd again - hang a right, ascending to the east; after passing through a tunnel of trees, you'll make a sharp turn to the north (mile 2' 5,225'), where you'll enjoy cruising 0.8 miles down the beautiful, wooded BBC Trail; at mile 2.8, you'll turn south onto a dirt road, where you'll meet back up with the Bates Canyon Rd markers you followed earlier in the loop, for your 0.6-mile westbound descent back to the Start/Finish.
Running in late November, you could find yourself running on dirt, in chilly temperatures...or you could find yourself powering through fresh powder! We'll see what this year brings.

Start/Finish Area
You'll be here at the end of each lap! We'll have hot/cold food and drink available for you. You're also welcome to keep your own "drop bag" at the start/your vehicle. If you tap out and choose not to continue, stick around for as long as you can and cheer on the other runners.
