Course Description
Beginning at an elevation of 5,200 ft, the odd laps (counter-clockwise) will take you eastward, along the Skyline Ridge Trail, topping out at approximately 5,750 ft; at mile 4.3 (5,475'), runners will briefly run along the paved Settlement Canyon Rd where, at mile 4.4 they will turn east onto Left Hand Fork Trail, enjoying 0.4 miles of wooded single-track and double-track; at mile 4.8, runners will cross the paved Left Hand Fork Rd and briefly run on some more single-track; at mile 4.8 (5,675'), make a hairpin turn to the northwest, climbing the pole line road; at mile 5.1 (5,875'), runners will veer southwest, then north, climbing and descending two steep hills; at mile 6 (5,875'), runners will turn northwest, climbing the ATV trail that runs across the top of the foothills; the ATV trail will top out at mile 6.2 (5,953'); from there, it's all downhill along the ATV trail, where, at mile 7, runners will turn southwest, skirting around the power plant; at mile 7.2, the trail will rejoin where you were much earlier in your lap; follow the trail 0.5 miles west, back to the Start/Finish Area. Even laps will be run in clockwise direction - ascending the ATV trail and returning westbound, via the Skyline Ridge Trail.
Running in late November, you could find yourself running on dirt, in chilly temperatures...or you could find yourself powering through fresh powder! We'll see what this year brings.

Start/Finish Area
You'll be here at the end of each lap! We'll have hot/cold food and drink available for you. You're also welcome to keep your own "drop bag" at the start/your vehicle. If you tap out and choose not to continue, stick around for as long as you can and cheer on the other runners.
